See Intelligence →Before adding more posts or promotions, verify the basics customers rely on: real business name, category, address or service area, contact details, opening hours and service list. Keep these consistent across the channels the business actually maintains. Correct inaccurate details before trying to attract more traffic.
Use clear descriptions rather than repeating a list of keywords. Explain what the business does, where it serves customers and how someone can contact it. Keep promotions specific and current, remove expired details, and use genuine reviews and authentic photos. Never manufacture reviews or make unsupported claims.
For salons, describe the salon type clearly and list services that are genuinely available. Use accurate prices or explain why prices vary. A useful offer tells customers what is included, who can use it and when it expires. Keep men's salons and unisex salons correctly categorised when reviewing nearby businesses.
Restaurants should keep opening hours, address, menu or service details, contact routes and current offers up to date. Explain dine-in, takeaway or delivery options only where they are available. A new post is not a substitute for correcting a wrong phone number or expired menu. Where available, measure actions such as menu views, calls, reservations or qualified enquiries.
Search engines and AI assistants can only interpret public information they can access. Helpful foundations include accessible HTML, descriptive page titles, page-specific descriptions, accurate canonical URLs, useful internal links and structured data that matches the visible page. A sitemap can help discovery, but submitting a URL does not guarantee indexing or an AI citation. Genuine independent references and trustworthy public profiles can also establish context; those references must not be fabricated.
Use a small measurement loop: record a baseline, make one meaningful change, check the updated page is live, and monitor search impressions, clicks, qualified visits and enquiries over time. Do not assume causation because dates overlap.
